Is there any way to get this to grow "nicely"? Leaves tend to die back in places, and it doesn't seem to make a tidy rosette...

I was wondering a similar thing with aloe vogtsii, it's leaves always seem to die at the ends. Normally when it flowers though can't really blame it for that part though.

I suppose you could give it a bit more water in winter but that’s a fine line of course.

As much as you can get in winter. It’s on the top shelf in my greenhouse.
