York Gate Garden

I recently visited York Gate Garden in Leeds after seeing it featured on Gardeners' World.

Of interest to BCSS members would be the glasshouse of cacti and succulents; the paved garden which had a wide array of aeonium, sempervivum, mangave, cacti and other succulents planted out in pots and in the ground; and the new dry bed which has some large specimens of agave as well as other interesting drought tolerant plants.

Leeds and Bradford branches will be getting a behind the scenes tour in August.
