Kikushogyoku variations

Post by iann »

Lithops 'Kikushogyoku' is a hybrid with unknown parents. I think it favours L. julii ssp fulleri, with perhaps some L. hallii involved. Seeds shows frequent regressions hinting at the parents, but even the patterned plants show a lot of variation. There is a similar cultivar 'Kikukaseki' which is like the plant on the right, but with an even more extreme narrowing of the windowing.
