This plant I grew from seed in 2019 and is one of 3 that germinated. One of the plants I gave to a friend and the other I lost when it was a mature plant.
The plant is in a 6 cm pot and it flowered for the first time today.

Re: Tavaresia barklyii
Thank you Tony. Sorry I have not posted for a while but late January I pulled a muscle in my back and this is still not completely right. It has put me back with regard to everything I do no lifting etc. etc. Have just started getting my collection back in order.

Sorry to hear that, hope you are on the mend now.
At least photo taking isn't heavy.
Super achievement, only managed to flower mine once since then it keeps becoming cuttings.

Sylvia
Good to see a post from you.
I was only wondering about you yesterday when I was tidying the Echinopsis bench
I don't know anything about the plant you have just posted .... but it's gorgeous

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: Tavaresia barklyii
Well done! I too have grown this to a fair size from seed quite quickly - but it seems harder to keep them in the longer term...
