Low Nitrogen based Slow Release Fertiliser

Post by Bonsai2 »

I am currently using Maxicrop Seaweed plant growth stimulant at 1/4 strength on my Mesembs which are growing in 100% 2-4 mm Pumice and feeding on a monthly basis during their growing season with good effect.

Fellow growers have suggested using slow release plant food such as Gro-Sure Slow Release Fertiliser Granules (NPK 12-7-19) which would last a season as opposed to my current monthly feeding feeding plan.

If any growers of Cacti, Succulents/ Mesembs are using a slow release fertiliser, I will be grateful for your comments and the name/s of the slow release fertiliser that you are using. Thank you!
