Struggling with some health issues (just minor ones comparing to what I had to experience last winter ...) I wasn't able to pick some appropriate mesemb pics earlier. But last week I had given a talk on winter and frost hardy cacti & other succulents at a local branch nearby, so I just have chosen a few photographs I had included in my presentation.
Continuing with Titanopsis, this is Titanopsis schwantesii:
Another highly succulent mesemb is Prepodesma orpenii.
Slightly more 'normal' leaves are presented by this Delosperma ashtonii, plus - more important - it's flowers!
With a little more srubby habit, Chasmatophyllum musculinum is flowering for quite a long time every year.
And now, we still have more than 9 hours to go ...
