Post by Eric Williams »

Hi all , I cannot find the above in my local Tesco for a few weeks now. Wonder if it’s still available ?
If not ,would there be alternative supplier. Thank you

Do you mean the Tesco moler clay cat litter? They stopped that a while ago.
Kittyfriend Pink Cat Litter seems to be the current one- but this is only available from some Pet stores for some reason.

Thanks Simon, yes it was the moler clay I was referring to. Years ago some one on this forum said an alternative could be supplied by car part traders. I believe it was used for mopping up spiky oi. ! Thanks

Don't buy all, please! It's way smaller grade than cat litters though, so might not be a 1:1 swap.

I buy Kitty Friend cat litter on line.
Oil spill is very small and I have used it mixed with Kitty friend.

Yes that was from europarts but the bag they are selling now is different and I don't know if it's the same stuff https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/granules

According to the website it is "clay based", which is promising, but also "100% recycled", which I'd be careful about.

I've been using that stuff for a while, it is exactly the same as the Tesco cat litter but without perfume.
