Love the pink spotties, Bill! My gymnos and parodias have the same kind of spots.. is that normal to every spiky seedling? (apart from Opuntia, which seem to be worlds apart).

When I first saw those feathery hairs on mine (like yours on the glowing teardrop) I thought - mould! But they are little roots on wrong-way-up plants I guess. Clever how they seem to be able to right themselves.

NB. Anyone failing to provide a sensible name for me to address them will be called, or referred to, as Fred.

They look great Bill! The ones in astro4 look particularly 'hairy'!

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
