Somebody mentioned on a previous thread that they thought this plant might be a Pilosocereus but wasn't sure which one. I have searched various sites and I can't come up with any firm conclusions as to what this is as it seems that so many plants look like they could be the same but then I am not so sure! Any expert help would be appreciated.

I cannot believe that no-one can ID this plant for me! Surely someone has the solution? Please?

Re: Pilosocereus ID please?
Hi Marty, your fine plant is (perhaps) Pilosocereus azureus.

Re: Pilosocereus ID please?
Thank you so much Davide! I have just followed your link and I tend to agree with your identification. Azureus meaning blue, so it definitely makes sense. Mine is settling in happily now after being rescued from a tiny pot full of peat based compost in a garden centre!
