That Weingartia's quite something, isn't it?

It's a bit of an odd situation here. I'm really pleased with my plants but I know really they're Bob's and, under ideal circumstances, they'd still be in his greenhouse. I know this has been said before but it takes something special to disperse them now when they're so well cared for. I hope we can look after them.

Is that all you brought Nick, I ended up with over 80 plants and not a cabbage in sight (:D

Yes I know what you mean Phil and it's why I brought them.

I deliberately went to look for just a few nice plants, particularly Copiapoas that I might not have. I only came home with a dozen or so, could probably have bought twice as many if I'd started in on the Sulcorebutias! Luckily didn't take enough money for that, no self-control, just wallet control :( I guess I was lucky Bob got rid of his Lithops last year or I'd have been pawning stuff to raise money :shrugs:

If anybody who went to Bob's found they bought more plants than they can cope with I'm sure there are others who for reasons of geography could not attend who would be glad to help them out.

Geographically close,
So far the furthest is San Diego, my mate Manny stayed overnight on his way back to work in Sidney.
The next was from Paris on Monday.
Wales and Northampton have also attended.
I also had a phone call from Cornwall from people who are coming.
I am not sure after that.
Plenty of plants left though.

OK Bob, point taken, in my case transport and geography, are weak though the spirit is more than willing.
