Here are the seedlings I got from this year's BCSS seed. I thought this one had flowered long ago and I missed it, the bud has been there for ages.

I don't think its so out of the ordinary. All my Anacampseros seedlings started flowering within a year. Or at least produced buds which magically transitioned to seed capsules when I wasn't looking

Tending more towards cacti , particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

I wonder if flowering at such a young age/small size has any detrimental effect on growth? Your little babies have been 'piling on the beef', will they now slow down after putting so much effort into flower?

Don't underestimate your achievements I agree with the others.
Whilst I have flowered them from seed they are very slowwww. I find pricking the seedlings out you be very dexterous !!!
