Interested in cacti (particularly Echinopsis, Rebutia, Sulcorebutia, Lobivia, Gymnos and Chamaelobivia), Stapeliads, Sempervivums, and anything else that takes my fancy.

Oops - sorry folks, I've been a bit busy and not looked for a while. Thanks Phil - the 'scales' are almost 'feathered' under high magnification and form a very tight quite smooth covering over the epidermis.
