South Norfolk group open show

Post by Ray_M »

South Norfolk group show is on Sunday the 18th July,at Thetford garden centre, and we hope to see lots of forum members there.I hope to persuade our branch 'lurker',secretary to take and post some photos here.As usual there will be members plants for sale and as its in the garden centre, there is no entry charge. There are plenty of paking spaces and refreshments are available in the centre cafe at very reasonable prices.Look forward to seeing you there, and if we havn't met yet, please introduce yourselves, you will be made very welcome. You can't miss me,i'm the good looking bloke, with a beard, using crutches  :ban:

Hi Ray
I'm going to try and get there (about 130 miles each way). Look for another good looking bloke with a beard and two even more handsome golden retrievers  (And my partner of course. She likes a day out and I like Succulents - if we can't get the dogs in we'll take turns looking after them)
If the weather, the car, and other circumstances allow I'll see you there!

Thanks Ray
Nice day out - saw some great plants (and bough some nice ones too)
Love the 'outdoor' feel and think the daylight suited the display really well.

If you enjoyed the show and the company why not come to our Special (Saturday) August Meeting that Eddie B post on the forum recently. It is on 7th Aug 2 to 5pm at our usual venue. Ian Woolnough is the speaker, there are plant sales and Eddie is having an open greenhouse before and after it. That means you can see some of the Show winning plants as well.
