Hello!

Post by Alison »

Hello all, I've been lurking about the site for a while now and have finally decided that I should probably introduce myself! I'm a 21 year old female from Kent who has always had an interest in cacti, but it was only really this past summer that my addiction kicked off. I wouldn't even like to guess how many plants I've accumulated now, but I think it's safe to say that it won't be long before I hit triple figures...

Nice to meet some fellow cacti lovers!

Hi A;ison
Welcome to the forum, always good when a lurker comes in from the cold.
You are doing well if you are into 3 figures with the collection, do you visit a local branch ?.
Tina

I'm not quite into 3 figures just yet, but I predict it won't be too long... and many that I have are just seedlings at the moment. I've not yet visited a branch, but maybe will in the future!

Thank you for the welcomes!

Hi Alison, :welc: to the forum! Do you have a greenhouse? If not, you are soon going to need one!

I do have a greenhouse thankfully Diane, but trying to find somewhere to house everything during winter will certainly be a challenge! My windowsills are already chock full  it's probably time for me to stop amassing plants now and concentrate instead on the ones I have for a while!
