Bed out or keep potting on?

Post by DaveW »

See:-

I always wondered why seedlings planted communally in large wide seed trays seemed to grow quicker and larger in the same time as those planted individually in small pots?

apparently, fish in ponds and aquaria are self limiting in growth in a similar fashion - I suppose it's all to do with not outgrowing one's resources.

Do you think I could persuade my waistline to stop expanding by wearing tight clothes?

maybe I need to pot mine out individually then they have been communal for 2 years now and seem to have stopped growing. Trouble is everytime I seperate any within a month they die and I have no idea why. So I leave them as long as I can.
