Here's my only contribution, it's an old plant I have had for several years
I'm a poor grower of lithops some seem to have shrunk so this one must be TOUGH & really mine should go to someone who grows them & knows what they are doing with them as I'm a bit prone to watering them anytime of the year & probably not enough the right time of year.

And here's what it looks like before they all open ( I'd forgot & left it in the kitchen overnight)

L. bromfieldii is fond of warmth and water. Preferably at the same timer Also prone to dividing, and apparently to flowering profusely

You made me look! But no, not L. hookeri. I'm pretty sure it is L. bromfieldii.

Couldn't let this one go even though I don't have a lot in flower yet.

L. gesinae is certainly in flower: One L. helmutii just about made it. This is a cutting from a very old plant. This is L. bromfieldii. Should be the red cultivar 'Embers', but never strikingly red and browns out very quickly in summer. A different kind of L. bromfieldii cultivar, 'Sulphurea': Lithops otzeniana in variety. Top right is the only cultivar, 'Aquamarine'.

Thank you to everyone who entered this month's competition. I must say at first I did think perhaps I had chosen a difficult subject as the entries were slow in coming in. As the month came to an end with all the really good entries you proved there were Lithops growers out there and lovely plants at that. I found it extremely difficult to chose but in the end gave it to Rod's Lithops lesliei ( there is still time for it to flower Rod). All my Lithops are in flower now and are a lovely sight. Congratulations Rod and it is now over to you.
