When you register on the Forum, your account requires to be approved by an admin before you will be able to post.
In order to try and keep the Forum a safe place for BCSS Members and other cacti and succulent enthusiasts of all ages, everyone who registers is checked. Here is Ledebouria cooperi. It has never flowered but just sticks up these leaves so late in the year that I always think I've lost it!

I think it is only one per bulb, or at most one fully formed and one small leaf. It has rather nice pink flowers on some of the pictures I've seen, but as I say I've never flowered it. I bought it in leaf in a pot with the bulbs buried so on its only repotting I left them that way. All the leaves die off about October/November and I'm left with an empty pot until late July/August. It is also quite small, (that is a standard t label behind it) and does seem slow growing - unless I'm doing something wrong which is altogether possible!! However I like it and it doesn't take up a lot of room.

They usually go for my stemless mesems, I put a ring of vaseline round the top of the pots, they don't like crossing it, but your hands get very sticky when you pick the pot up. Haven't had snails attack a Ledebouria before though.

I put mine in the coldframe this year and the lid has been off most of the time so I think there have been a lot more snails around it. I'll move it back to the greenhouse for next year. It would have looked quite impressive if it hadn't been nibbled.
