March 2019 - GotM - Echinocereus

http://www.society.bcss.org.uk/index.ph ... -2019.html It would be particularly nice to see some of the wilcoxia types, given the focus on E. poselgeri.

I don't have many Echinocerei, but here are a couple from a few years ago.
First E. lauii, which grew into a nice clump, I must look for another.

Neglected and lost label, but maybe help at hand? Almost disposed of after a bad mite attack and sunburn, but with new growth bursting through, is this a small echinocereus?

There you go, not great pictures of it but the only ones on this PC, I have had it as W. schmollii for the last thirty odd years, I suppose that I should re label it. Lovely flowers from a very scruffy old plant, there is a lot more plant under the gravel than may be obvious.
Regards Keith.
