Here's my first, Huernia reticulata-

Hi Mike, Don,t grow many , this plant is labelled Stap. multiflorum. No flowers but wierd seed pods. Cheers

Here's my hoodia rauchii grown from Doug rowland seed many years ago with quite a few flowers , I have been told the name isn't correct but I'm still proud of it even though its a bit ugly.
I have been putting it outside on the table hoping an obliging bug will find it .
my monstrose larryleachia/ trichocaulon not a lucky plant
OUCH.A bit like Mikes plant but worse with scorch but it seems to be quite tough and tries growing again, I'm going to try some cuttings this year so fingers crossed

Hi Tina, looks very much like my Hoodia gordonii. Flowers are identical too. L
. PS, Wikpedia shows apicture of Hoodia ruschii (could be rauschii). Of a very similar plant to gordonii.

I'm always happy with a Stapeliad thread!. It's still a bit early for flowers but here are some that are flowering today:
Named as Stapelia schinzii, but doesn't match that species too well, so I guess a hybrid:
Huernia zebrina:
Huernia campanulata
Huernia mccoyi from Yemen ( seems to be indestructible, and grows like a weed)
Huernia pendurata (very difficult to photo these pendent flowers!)
Needless to say, I am rerooting quite a few in a rescue mission, which happens every year. Good job they root so easily in cat litter. I also have a few new additions currently residing in a shaded propagator, so hopeful I might have more later in the summer.

- Stapelia hybrid??
- Huernia zebrina
- Huernia campanulata
- Huernia mccoyi
- Huernia pendurata
