Thanks again Jim, I have looked back through the past competitions ( since 2010!) and nearly everything has been covered already. Therefore I’m going to go with one of my favourite types that I don’t see much of, Pachyphytums, including hybrids, so Pachyveria, Pachysedum etc.. and hopefully some new ones I don’t know about yet. You can also have a wildcard entry for Dudleyas if you have any?

Best of luck

Might be a difficult theme! I can find a few small plants and one slightly larger that is in flower now. Problem with my largest plant is the flowers are on long stalks and the plant should have been beheaded as there is a long stem from the pot to where the leaves are. Hope fully the flowers will open a bit more but for now this is the best I can do

Hi Jim, I’m not sure if I was clear enough in my post, I didn’t mean it has to be in flower, it could just be the plant itself with or without a flower. I thought some people on here might have some plants that were worth a look as most the ones I see for sale are small

Original post is clear enough but perhaps my explanation for only showing flower head wasn't.

I have a few plants of Pachphytum compactum but could only find one large plant, the others may be the result of leaves breaking off large plant and being put into other pots

The plant that has the flower in my first post is old but I cannot easily photograph the entire plant, in the following photograph the pot that the plant is growing in is just visible but the stem which is growing horizontally over three pots cannot be seen

. Another reason for not showing the leaves is the damage caused by mealy bugs

I've only got 4 types but happy to share some photos!

The only one I think is looking remotely presentable at the moment is this,
Pachyphytum compactum 'Variegatum'
Pachyphytum compactum 'Variegatum'
Pachyphytum compactum 'Variegatum'
My other Pachyphytum / Pachyveria are either too drawn and shaded,
Pachyphytum oviferum
Pachyphytum oviferum
Have been eaten by aphids,
X Pachyveria x scheideckeri 'Albocarinata'
X Pachyveria x scheideckeri 'Albocarinata'
Or are still babies,
Pachyphytum compactum
Pachyphytum compactum
Now if we can stretch it a little to Graptoveria I have a few more possibles,
X Graptoveria 'Amethorum'
X Graptoveria 'Amethorum'
X Graptoveria 'Bashful'
X Graptoveria 'Bashful'
X Graptoveria 'Sweet Flame'
X Graptoveria 'Sweet Flame'

Regarding the previous two photos. I have had them a long time. Got them from Roy Mottram.
The presidential stone pot helps keep clavifolia upright, but only just!
