I was similarly distressed to find Peyote the Divine Cactus absent from the list. Did someone trip up there?

The cover price is 2300 Yen (£16 or so), but assuming you won't be popping to Japan to pick one up soon, it seems to be available here (albeit at a heck of a markup):Colin Walker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 10:00 am Wow Ralph, I've never heard of the Japanese Echeveria book. How much was this if you don't mind me asking? Also what's the publication date?

It's got a good set of habitat pictures, with text also in English. There are a few typos, but on the whole it's got some useful info and good photography in it.

Thanks for the info Ralph. I'll check this out. Can't let a good book on Echeverias pass me by.ralphrmartin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 5:26 pmThe cover price is 2300 Yen (£16 or so), but assuming you won't be popping to Japan to pick one up soon, it seems to be available here (albeit at a heck of a markup):Colin Walker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 10:00 am Wow Ralph, I've never heard of the Japanese Echeveria book. I actually have few Japanese C & S books, But my word there are loads and loads of publications from that country. When we catalogued and packed up Gordon Rowley's library 2 years ago I was amazed how many Japanese books and journals he had that I'd never bothered to look at during my many Cactusville sojourns.
On this topic, I only have 2 books in Chinese. Bet you've got shed loads of these.
In contrast I've got mountains of Russian literature, none of which I can read of course. This accumulated through an exchange arrangement I had, long since finished.
Cheers,
Colin

Hello Ralph thank you for the tip, thought I'd better get it straight away. It'll be five times as much in no time at all. Like(" aloe the definitive guide""") which I don't think I'll be purchasing any time soon .hohum
