Which sibling of 'Mordor' do you have in the second tray?

Edit: Also, how deep are the lids? Wouldn't you have a few spare?

Hi Mat, I think it is a ‘blue diamond’ if it’s the one on the right tray on my last picture? Is it the one 3 from the right and 3 from the bottom?

I haven’t got any spare lids sorry, when I water them i’ll Use the lids as a drip tray, and they aren’t very deep, just about 9mm

Yes, that one! I do have 'Mordor' and 'BD', I believe there is also 'Super Diamond' in the same "series".

I'll need to find a reason to go to Ikea then, thank you for the tip!

I’m never sure with names, haworthia names especially since there are so many hybrids.

Ikea do deliver and collections if you don’t want to visit a store, I imagine covid loves Ikea :cac3:

I meant to ask if you had any results from testing the different soils too? On a different thread you said you were going to test some before

Ah, I know what you're talking about. I missed your original question and of course did not post any "results" :???: Well, they were not surprising really, but confirmed exactly what I needed to know - large particles hold slightly less water and dries faster, but still have some moisture "trapped" inside even when they seem dry, and in terms of water retention a 1:1:1 mix on compost, grit and moler clay was slightly more retentive than pure moler clay.

Thanks Mat, the results aren’t too surprising when compared to each other, the only thing that did surprise me with mine was how long akadama held moisture. I’d never weighed pots before watering or anything like that. The akadama still has some moisture after 2 weeks without a fan on it, but it’s such a little amount I don’t know if it’s good or bad for the plants. I should have some results soon though, then I can see what difference a fan and lights make too.

Do you have any pics of the other Mordor ones?

I'll do my best to remember about this tomorrow/today.

A week later... Quick snaps of 'Mordor' (top) & 'Blue Diamond'. Please note 'Mordor' joined my collection about two months ago, so I'm still hoping it will catch up with the 'BD' soon.

And individual ones, taken late in the night when I was pollinating my Haworthias in flower, same other as above:
