I see your ‘Lincoln Friend’ is doing the same as mine - fringed petals. Hopefully later flowers will be normal.

I know, the beauty is in the eye and so on, but I really like the fringed flowers, they are a tad more special. If the plants stay like that I'll happily save them from being binned!

No evidence of thrips, it seems to be a curious anomaly.

Same with mine as well. I put it down to a young plant but it looks like it's something environmental. Again I've no evidence of thrips and it has been growing in my office so hope I would have noticed thrips on things!

It did the same last year, later flowers were normal and rather spectacular.

I have this as Aylostera pulvinosa. It was purchased from a Branch sale as a remainder in need of TLC. 8 months on it has repaid the treatment.

Looks typical for A. pulvinosa to me.
