Grusonia stanlyi

Post by Darren S »

I know it is probably no longer a valid name but that is what is on the label. On a high shelf and I did not dare move it so the overhead pic was taken through the glass from outside the greenhouse, standing on a chair!

Great photo through the glass Darren. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't said.

Thank you Ed. There are a couple of buds in a slightly less awkward position but sod's law dictates they will open when I am at work this week. And I really did not fancy my chances of moving the plant without either it or me being damaged! So I am glad it workedπŸ˜‚

Name is still valid, but it is not the latest in a long line of names that species has had.

All Health and Safety rules followed ......??????
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
