BCSS members still look suspiciously on hybrides and prefer natural location plants.
slightly outrageous comment, I go by sight if I like the plant I buy/grow it, some people like plants but with collection data but I would say they are less common than growers/collectors like me, who grow what we like.
I don't collect labels, my plants are doing well if they have a label .
I'm with you Tina.
I grow what I like. I won't be dictated to, as to what I should and shouldn't be growing. I don't collect labels. I collect plants I like. I grow hybrids. I grow species. I collect seeds which I grow (some are hybrids; some might be hybrids; some are species). I like to know the provenance of what I buy, but it doesn't phase me if the label is missing or vague.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
