Despite today's rain there was enough sun for this Thelocactus bicolor flower to open

Copiapoa coquimbana
The spines prevent the flower from opening fully

My first attempt at growing Ceropegia from seed. C. woodii from Silverhills, sown April last year, and already flowering.
Just possible that it doesn't qualify as the most beautiful or colourful flower. But I do think Ceropegia lanterns have their own kind of beauty.

I love the look of the flowers and the tubers are very tasty.

Did you get some nice patterning on the leaves?

3 seedlings germinated, 2 have similar patterning and the third is different, more silver. I'll try to photograph them tomorrow.

Echinopsis subdenudata cheering the morning and beginning of a new week.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
