Original label names this plant as Crassula karasana, my own label has it as Crassula ausensis ssp ausensis which I think is now accepted as the correct name
International Crassulaceae Network

This has been a difficult choice to make, with so many high class photos. Of particular note, I thought, were Jim Mercer's Echeveria Doris Taylor (4/8 and 17/8), Paul D's Echinocereus viridiflorus (5/8) and el48tel's unnamed echinopsis hybrid (12/8). However, the winner is bobblackbird's Mammillaria swinglei (now classified as Sheldonii, I believe) of 14/8, for the amount of detail and definition in the photo. Over to you to choose the September topic.

Does anyone NORTHAMPTON & MILTON KEYNES Branch know who bobblackbird is? only had 3 posts so not very active on forum so they probably don't know that they won monthly photo comp and need to set next topic. I've tried the email option on the forum to try and contact them but had no response - don't think that option is working as I didn't get a copy

If bobblackbird is non-contactable after a few more days, perhaps Jim, as a runner-up, could choose this month's topic.
