What did she say ?

Post by RAYWOODBRIDGE »

Whilst shopping with my wife last week, I noticed her placing a planter in her trolley, she turned and said that will go nicely in the conservatory and you can put some of your plants in it.
Now bearing in mind I have been banned from putting plants in there, what did she say went through my mind.
When home I quickly measured the spaces and 16cm square pots where the order of the day, so out to the greenhouses and 4 plants were soon found and placed in the planter a little top dressing added ( well you have to make the effort ) see photo below.
7 days on and no comments , so today I placed a small metal planter I bought from a charity shop on the window sill in there and I might pop a plant into it next week if all goes well.

Smart planter Ray. Personally I'd swap the two taller cacti around - think you'd have a visually more appealing mix of heights that way. Would sort of lead the eye back and forth up the planter. However if that is sailing under the radar might be best leaving it as is!!!

The thin end of the wedge? Nice display, Ray.

Yes, it would possibly look even better with another identical planter on the other side of the radiator......

edds. I did plant it the way you suggest, but the Cleisto. hyalacanthus was way over the window sill.
so I thought like you under the radar ( and sill ) was safer. It can always be moved back later.

Chris L we think alike  look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the mart.

Good plan! Under the radar is always better and it still looks great as it is. (tu)
