Well here on the South Coast anyway.

One of the Trichocereus Hybrids did its thing yesterday, this one is 'Arizona Sunset'.

Lovely flower Chris! Much earlier than my two with buds.

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

That's a super flower. How tall is it? How tall does it get?

Ralph; no idea of ultimate height but is currently 12cm or so tall. Flower approx. 8-9cm across and I was surprised to find it open again today when the sun finally broke through during the late afternoon. My experience so far with these large flowered hybrids seems to be a day at the most.

Then it's even more impressive to have such a big flower on such a small plant. Cracking colour, too.
