Crassula alba
Has anyone grown this species? I bought seed a couple of years ago from Silverhill Seeds after reading it occurs in some high elevations and cold locations so might be happy outdoors as Crassula sarcocaulis seems to be. The plants grew happily for a while but gradually died back....only to return a couple of months ago! No picture to hand.

Re: Crassula alba
yes, I had it growing for a few years. Nice littloe thing it was too. Then everything nearby swamped it and it dwindled to nothing. Another one I'd like to try again in my new sunnier garden.

Re: Crassula alba
I grow mine in the greenhouse. Sometimes the main head flowers and dies, but it usually offsets in the process. Some forms are much better than others, with leaves covered in red splodges - but I have seen other forms with almost plain leaves.

Re: Crassula alba
I had one with lovely well-blotched leaves but seem to have killed it this winter!

Not the most interesting plant but I thought they had all died only to return looking very healthy.
