Pretty sure that is a small Kichiokan/ Kissho Kan. I have a similar sized one and they get the distinctive wiggly terminal spine and broad base to the terminal spine as they get bigger.

No idea on the cactus, sorry!

Thanks! I got the agave from the Maces and they weren't sure on the variety.
