Echinocereus scheeri

Post by Mike P »

I don’t grow many Echinocereus but this is definitely worth it’s space on the staging.

They do scar very easy for numerous reasons, mostly post flowering marks. But we'll forgive them as the flowers last for so long. I almost have the full box set.

Here's a davisii (apologies it's not a scheeri) grown from seed in 2000. Barely a centimetre wide and flowering. I was afraid to move it from the seed tray in Spring as it was so small.

Just seen your post Mike and went straight back to the greenhouse.
Only one of my E. scheeri flowering today but a few others with buds forming.
