I was thinking a Lobivia; the areoles remind me of a schieliana quiabayensis I am growing.

Looks like a peat-pumped Sulcorebutia crispata. A change of compost will help it deflate a bit 😁

Nice looking plant. Good price.
Bought in Leeds? Which GARDEN CENTRE?
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
