Re: Succulent winner of Chelsea plant of the year

Apologies to all - a search via Google lead me to that outdated page and I did not notice the difference late at night!

Yes, at Chelsea today, the specimens that were judged were on display in the Plant of the Year corner.

The Semponium was very large, perhaps 6" across, and darker than my photo shows.

Daniel said Aeonium 'Jubilee' is a complex hybrid with two previous hybrids as parents. Apparently, it was sold out on their web site by 9:00 p.m. Monday evening after the quick showing on BBC2!

Best wishes,

Nice to see that Daniel is having the success he deserves. I'd expect he'll have plants for sale at the National in September.
