An oxymoron, surely ....

This Echinopsis hybrid has a diurnal flower. So why "Candlelight"?
Yes .... I jest slightly .... the opening bud resembles a candle flame.
So why no pictures .... I missed the opportunity this morning. Perhaps in a week or two.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

One of those few plants whose buds are better (well, more interesting, anyhow) than the flowers!
