Bradford branch have had some Ferocactus and at least 1 Echinocactus donated for the branch auction next week. They seem to be great plants in good condition, but unfortunately none have labels, so we'd like to be able to put names to some of them if anyone can help.
Thank you.

That's Echinocactus grusonii var. albispinus.
I wouldn't have a clue of the Ferocactus......

I'm pretty sure the first Fero with the Grusonii is F. Electracanthus (Histrix). It looks identical to the head of my oldest surviving seed grown plant sown in 1978.

Could be the long-lost twin of my F. histrix.

Thank you for the names. The other name we've got is Ferocactus latispinus - more than one plant. It is the branch auction tomorrow so I'll check back before then in case anyone adds any more. Bradford branch has a lot of new members so I think they'll particularly appreciate buying a labelled plant rather than just a mystery cactus. I should probably add that the auction is of course open to everyone, members and non-members, if anyone has seen a plant they like.

Re: Ferocactus donated for Bradford's auction; can anyone ID?
My thoughts:
2nd picture
top row left to right 3rd plant is F. Glaucescens
bottom row 2nd plant could be F. Latispinus
3rd picture
top row looks like F. Stainesii Pilosus and probably F. Cylindraceus
bottom row middle plant is another F Glaucescens and
plant on the right looks like a younger F. Stainesii
Sorry can't help with the rest as smaller Fero's are difficult to ID

Thank you for the extra names. We've added all the names ready for the auction this evening.
