There is a Lithops cultivar L. karasmontana 'Orange Ice'. This isn't it, at least not officially. It is from Mesemb Study Group seed labelled just "Orange". Either way, quite orange. Lithops 'Hanawared' is usually quite orange, at least when I grow it, but a few of the smaller ones here are almost red. The smaller/slower ones of this cultivar always seem to have the strongest colour. I don't know if the most coloured ones grow more slowly or if they are smaller due to stress and hence more brightly coloured. The largest ones are hardly different from the normal species.

Quite orange? Fenestraria 'Fireworth' is just starting to flower.

It's a fair size, maybe 30cm. I can measure it later.

Good plant! Certainly a lot bigger than the Fenestraria entered in the North West Mesem show a little while back...

Hi Ian. I’ve also got “orange ice”. They are a fab colour

It's good to see a UK grown fenestraria that isn't elongated, as I believe they need very bright light to grow in a compact way.

Slow going in November. The second flower has sort of opened, more are coming along, but it might be March before they get anywhere at this rate.
