Zone Restructure proposal in the SOCIETY SECTION

The BoT have apparently had a meeting to propose a new grouping of branches to enact the long over due restructuring of the zone system.
A new grouping of branches can be seen in a thread in the society* section of the forum.

I understand branch secretaries are being asked to collect branch members views on the proposal to submit to the BoT. The consutation period is until the 3rd September (so members need to contact their secretaries THIS MONTH).
Lots more details in the actual thread, where it would be better to leave any views or comments, or better still fill out the survey form that is there. We have a chance to make our views known, it would be a shame not to use it.
FWIW I think the choices they have made are actually quite good and make a lot of sense.
* to access the society section I think you need to be registered on the forum as a BCSS Member (i.e. your user name should be in bold black lettering). If you cannot see the section then please contact your branch secretary for details of the proposal.
