Help on Haworthia ID

Post by fabricius »

Hello everyone.

My first post here, after my presentation in the dedicated sub-forum.

I have approx 30 different Haworthias, botanics and cultivars, and I still have some doubts/problem to identify some of them.

This one looks a bit like Haworthia venosa ssp. granulata, but is probably an hybrid.

What would be your guess about it ?

Thks for your advice.

I'd say it has rather too many stacked up leaves for most forms of Haworthiopsis venosa On the other hand, the ones that do have more leaves and look a bit like this, like H. coarctata and H. reinwardtii, generally have narrower, and often less fleshy, leaves. It could be a hybrid - but there is amazing variation within the genus...

A look through the huge range of Ingo Breuer's plants at https://www.eden-plants.com/ could be informative...
