Re: May 2023 - Taken with a phone (or tablet)
I think I now have everyone's entries safely in Lightroom to try and make my decision a bit easier - most images are the full size version available by clicking on correct location in forum not the image that appears in forum posts apart from a couple that didn't seem to have larger images available

The winner is MatDz with Bulbine mesembryanthoides flower that I eventually decided was a better photo than edds Cleistocactus brookeae ssp.brookeae
Approximate order for images shown below, sorted by 5 star ratings so not complete ranking as I couldn't find a way to sort images with same number of stars (and one image seems to have lost its stars - sorry rodsmith)

Re: May 2023 - Taken with a phone (or tablet)
Thank you Jim, I am genuinely flattered as this month's thread was a pleasure to look at with every new photograph incoming. Congratulations to everyone sharing their plants and photographs, and to edds in particular - it must have been a coin toss to decide
I will quickly check the topics from the last year or so to hopefully propose something a little different for June.
