Cumulopuntia pentlandii from a couple of weeks ago. Again, in a 7’’ pot.

That's a cracking plant that I've not come across in the past. One to add to the wants list for sure.

You'll come across this under the name Cumulopuntia rossiana more often than pentlandii.

Can Cumulopuntia Pentlandii survive the British winter outside?

A nice specimen of Cumulopuntia rossiana. And early flowers too, (tu)

Outside, in the open, it would not like the amount of rain we have had this winter. Outside, under cover, it would be very happy.

Simon ; In Chesterfield it would turn to mush, maybe ok for a couple of months outside in summer. But what benefit would that give you ?
Snails and slugs would love it and a beautiful plant would be ruined.
