Big flower
This is what used to be called Epiphyllum ‘Cooperi’, I believe it is now Disocactus crenatus ssp. kimnachii. The flowers open in the evening but stay open for a few days unlike the true nocturnal Epiphyllums. They are very large, the central petals are around 5 inches in diameter and they are around 8 inches across including the outer narrow petals. They have an intensely strong fragrance. This is the first to open of 5 buds this year, not bad for a plant in a pot smaller than the flower
