Aloe somaliensis

Post by MaciejW »

Inspired by Mike's post on Aloe hemmingii, made me think about Aloe somaliensis. It is one of my favourites, very common in cultivation and easy to care for. Few pictures of different patterns of the markings on the leaf. The last picture of var marmorata.

I had somaliensis for some years but in one of my periodical collection reductions I moved it on to a good home and hemmingii won out.

Let me know Mike if you would like to reinstate it - happy to send some your way! On the other hand, if you ever take any material of your hemmingii, I would happily add it to my collection.
