Hello from Leicestershire

Post by Kronos »

Hello there, I am new to the BCSS and to this hobby.

I love bonsai and have been growing them for the past 8 years or so and have now been drawn into the succulent side of things by my daughter who loves them. I have a 10ft x 10ft polytunnel and 8ft x 6ft greenhouse.

I have about half a dozen succulents from my daughter and I want to keep the type that can stay outside or in my polytunnel.

I quite like the look of lithops and have read some are ok to -2c, any advise on other lithops varieties that can with stand the cold would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Kronos to the hobby and the forum.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
