January: Graphic

Post by WoBo »

No flowering succulents on my hands, and I assume it's not much different for you ... So I suggest a theme where we can focus a little more on the plants themselves: Images with a graphic effect.
Structures / textures / patterns are a feature that succulents offer all year round, whether through their general appearance or in detail. E. g. edds' fine photo of Aloe polyphylla from last month would be suitable - or something like this:

Opuntia phaeacantha

Sempervivum X fa. cristata

Agave attenuata

Of course it is not forbidden to show flowers!
Agave americana

Euphorbia canariensis

Looking forward to your entries!

And my greenhouse with a double rainbow and a cute dog as the graphic eye catcher:

Graptopetalum filiferum, Batopilas (seeds Köhres 5132), I must say they really took off this winter! I will try to take a zoomed in photograph of one of them later as well.

Gasteria 'Little Warty'
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
