heres a pict of an E.Rinconensis I have which often seems to grow blind tubercles, with no spines on the tips, which seem to rip thru the plant.
I wondered if it was a virus or some sort of monstrose tendencies ?:S, any one got any idea's ?

this is another view of the plant. When I rescued it from a garden centre towards the end of 2005 there was only the main body. The clumping all took place last year (despite an effort by the spider mites to reverse it) so it seems either I have a super-fast grower or you've got one of those 'sulkers' discussed in a previous thread.

My knipellianus has white flowers does that signify anything.

My knipellianus gets all wrinkly after winter

but after few drinks gets all fat and well over the top with the flowers - they are pink
