Hello Lindsey
Lithops can have a strong scent and this is mostly evident in the afternoon on warm sunny days. Des Cole suggests that there isn't always a scent present and believes it is based on heat & humidity. Nice looking plant you have. You have beaten me with the first flower showing this year. Pseudo's are usually the first sometime only beaten by Stein's. Stein's are belived to be part L. pseudotruncatella X ? so it isn't surprising that they flower at around the same time. Keep the picture coming in

Re: Lithops flower!
Does anyone else have any flowering Lithops? (or P.nelii?)
Lindsey will have seed capsules before mine decide to flower.

I have 2 in flower today C363 L pseudotruncatella & C150 L schwantesii var urikosensis *kuibisensis. The C150 is unusally early for me but I'm not complaining. The C150 is a smaller in size. Sorry about the messy pot - that's another story.

Unusual for L. shwantesii. This L. pesudotruncatella has had a flower for about a week, two more just opening up, and two buds.

Thanks for that puff, Lindsey! My l. steineckeana is not showing buds yet, shouldn't be long though! Started watering mine about 6 weeks ago
