Washing up bowl with holes drilled in the bottom? :)

Beautiful colour flowers.

NB. Anyone failing to provide a sensible name for me to address them will be called, or referred to, as Fred.

Thanks. You might want to take the name with a pinch of salt. Delosperma names are tricky at the best of times and even worse on cultivated plants. My plant does not match the description for D. brunnthaleri although that's what the seeds came as. I suspect possibly Delosperma 'John Proffit', a collection of an unknown (un-named) species. Very garden worthy, better than D. cooperi.

Ian, has it been outdoors over winter? If the answer is yes, is it self fertile? If so, there might be interest in seed -from me for a start

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Yes, certainly it has been out over winter. This one is in a completely open position in the garden far from the house, although obviously my soil is fairly well drained.

I sent in a bunch of seed of this and other Delospermas to the seedpool but that's gone so someone may have a lot of plants of this taking up space! I have two plants so even if it isn't self-fertile (and it certainly isn't setting masses of capsules) then I should be able to get some off it. I will be sending in a load of succulent seed to the pool at the end of the summer. If no seed at all turns up then cuttings of most Delospermas are very easy.
