Re: A Triffid??
Well done Diane, it is indeed a cymbiformis and no I am not guilty of keeping it in the dark.
It is one of a group of plants that I acquired a while ago that had been unknowingly kept in less than ideal conditions. Some were OK, some just had very long leaves which I left to grow out and are now starting to form nice rosettes within the long leaves, some I decapitated, rooted the top and the bases are forming lots of rosettes. And a few like this one I left to see what would happen and at every leaf axil a rosette has formed, the strange thing is many of the others are being similarly promiscuous. For instance I have a bolusii less than an inch across with 5 heads.
