....just walked into the ghouse to find my Echinocereus palmeri in flower. It produced a few flowers last year but most of the buds aborted, so perhaps it prefers the cooler, overcast weather with less water, having only been watered 3 times this year apart from the odd misting.

Tending more towards cacti , particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
